"UP/RE CYCLE" OLD HARD DRIVES

The weight and size of an old hard drive seemed perfect for a pattern weight and pin cushion to me.  After removing the hard-drive, I covered the drive with foam securely using hot-glue. Then padding the top with poly-fleece and covering this with another layer of foam. 

Finally, covering with selected surface fabric and securing edges under the bottom. The bottom then covered with a rectangle of neutral fabric. Then cutting and finishing a layer for the final bottom cover. 

Last, adding clear bumpers for legs.
